Patricia, Welcome to FLL! Two team meeting guides and ten engineering notebooks will ship with every FLL team registration from what I understand. There is no “separate charge” per se, but teams are being assessed a shipping and handling fee for each registration to handle the associated costs. The challenge kits are separate items. You will need purchase at least *one* of those depending on how many teams you have and if you intend to share your kit with another team (e.g. two or more teams from the same school).
