Out to FLL Teams …

We have an exciting outreach opportunity for teams to participate in during the FIRST Robotics Competition Washington DC Regional – Friday, March 25th and Saturday, March 26th.

FIRST EXPO

On Friday and Saturday, we welcome local Jr.FLL, FLL and FTC teams to exhibit during our FIRST Expo (LEGO models, WeDo kits, NXT and TETRIX robots only).

FIRST EXPO Hours:
2 Jr.FLL teams, 1 FLL team and 1 FTC team are desired for each 3-4 hour time slot

Available Time Slots:

Friday, March 25, 2011
7:30 am – 11:30 am (VIP Breakfast)
11:30 am –  3:30 pm (VIP Lunch)

Saturday, March 26, 2011
9 am – 12 pm
12 pm – until Closing Ceremonies

Volunteers:
One DC Regional volunteer will be available to explain exhibits and restock literature as needed. Team coaches and mentors are expected to monitor their students and robots at all times.

Convention Center to provide:
Tables - 9
Electricity - 3 outlets

FIRST to provide:
FIRST brochures, folders, literature, FLL ½ table with Body Forward field mat, “Get Over It!” field and game elements

Teams to provide:

•         Jr.FLL: Show Me Posters and models, trophies

•         FLL and FTC: Robots, Body Forward field missions, laptop, pit decorations, tri-folds, journals, research presentation props, engineering notebooks - anything within reason that you want to carry in that will showcase your team!
