Hello VA/DC FIRST LEGO League Jr. community

We are getting excited for the 2020 Boomtown Build season.  We wanted to give you a few updates and reminders as we prepare to celebrate all the awesome work your teams will accomplish.


  *   If you have not done so, please register your team with FIRST:  https://va-dcfll.org/jrfll-team-registration-checklist/
     *   We use those registration numbers to plan our expo schedule.  With more accurate information, we can plan for a more successful expo season!
  *   We are still finalizing our 2020 FIRST LEGO League Jr. Expo Schedule:  https://va-dcfll.org/jrfll/expo-schedule/
     *   We plan to have this finalized and posted mid-January 2020.
     *   Please keep checking back for more updates.  We appreciate your patience!
  *   Registration for the 2020 Boomtown Build season will open up on February 1st at 10:00am.
     *   Registration links can be found next to each event https://va-dcfll.org/jrfll/expo-schedule/
     *   We ask that teams only register for one event.
     *   We do require at least 8 teams to participate at each Expo and a registration fee of $50.  More information on payment to be provided when the schedule is finalized.


Pre-Season VA/DC FIRST LEGO League Jr. Official Expo

We are excited to try out some of the new Boomtown Build materials at our pre-season expo happening at Roanoke College.  This event is open to teams that register and is being considered an “official” event.  It is being held in conjunction with the FIRST Tech Challenge Salem Qualifier and is a great way to check out what FIRST has to offer!

  *   When:  Saturday, January 11th, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm
  *   Where:  Roanoke College, Bast Center, 310 N. Market Street, Salem, VA 24153
