Dear FEASTers,
As many of you know, over the past year or so Patricia Marino and I have reestablished the Society for the Philosophy of Sex and Love (http://philosophyofsexandlove.org/). This email is intended for those FEASTers who have research interests in the area of the philosophy of sex and love, but do not know about the SPSL.
Patricia and I are still developing the SPSL. Up until now, we have constructed a fairly extensive webpage for our members as well as organized a couple of APA sessions and a "Sexual Selves" conference at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May (2009) (http://philosophyofsexandlove.org/events2007.html). In addition to organizing such meetings and conferences, we want the SPSL to facilitate easier, continuous contact between philosophers working in this area. Consequently, we have recently created a listserv for our members to share relevant research news, enquiries and requests. We hope to add further functions to the SPSL as requested by and reflecting the needs of our members.
If you would like to become a member of the SPSL (it's free) or just know more about the SPSL, just send me an email.
Very best,
Helga
