Dear FEAST Members,
Please join other members for the Simone de Beauvoir Society
Conference, Translations and Interpretations for the 21st Century, in
beautiful Eugene, Oregon, June 15-18th. The conference includes
keynotes by Margaret Simons and Debra Bergoffen, and a special session
with the translators of the new English edition of The Second Sex,
Constance Borde and Sheila Malovaney-Chevallier. We have accepted papers
from across the US and Canada, many countries in Europe, and Latin
America. The conference will conclude on Saturday afternoon with a
choice of three wonderful excursions in the Eugene, area. The poster for
the conference, in English and in French, is attached. Please
distribute it widely. Conference registration/travel/hotel/excursion
information can be found here:
http://philosophy.uoregon.edu/news/?p=315.
We hope to see many of you at the conference!
