I think that it will be important for each of your teams to be able to say:

This is what our team researched.
This is what our team thought about and created.
This is how our team shares our problem and solution.

There could be some benefits in the research portion to sharing a
problem and combining research, but I think that if the teams share a
solution then (A) the team members don't get the full benefit of the
discovery process in a smaller group and (B) it'll be hard for them
not to seem like they are presenting "somebody else's work"
