than robotics. This is a great opportunity for a special middle school
math or science teacher that you might know. Please forward this email
or pass its attachment to that special teacher that you might know
(perhaps your robotics coach/mentor).

The Northrop Grumman Foundation is accepting teacher applications for
the 2008 Weightless Flights of Discovery program, an initiative that
places teachers on micro- and zero-gravity flights to test Newton's Laws
of Motion and energize students in the formative middle-school years.

Eligibility
If you are a math or science teacher at an accredited public middle
school or a college student majoring in education at a university near
locations where flights will take place (see list below) you may submit
an application to participate in the Northrop Grumman Foundation
Weightless Flights of Discovery program. Special consideration will be
given to educators in underserved communities and at schools with
underperforming math and science scores.

2008 Locations include:

	San Jose, California		Flight - September 18 
	Space Coast, Florida	Flight - September 30 
	Atlanta, Georgia		Flight - October 7 
	Chicago, Illinois		Flight - October 21
