I've found that gracious professionalism is a capricious thing during a meeting full of boys but gets its due when practicing for a team challenge. Boys can finally appreciate someone's difference will make for a winning approach to a problem.  When we had girls on the team it was a calming influence that made solutions easier to discuss.
