We had a similar problem with one of our bricks.  I called the Lego tech support line (education division) and was told that some of the early bricks had problems with the screens.  Although the brick was beyond warranty (we had purchased it the first year it came out), they said that because of the screen problem with the early bricks, they would replace our faulty brick free of charge.  All we had to do was send the faulty brick back to them and they would send a replacement to us. Our faulty brick went back to them last week and we are expecting our replacement this week.

Hello VA/DC FLL friends,

I have several NXT bricks that are only 2 years old that are the screens aren't working - anyone else having this issue? Is there anything we can do about this issue besided replacing the brick?
