Team 5802 (Nysmith Xtra Terrestrials) would like to thank all the volunteers for an amazing experience: Nick Swayne, Brittany Rose and the countless others who made possible such a great event. Our team had a fabulous time; we enjoyed the smooth run tournament, the additional events, and the great hospitality and the beautiful snowy views of the town of Harrisonburg. On a personal note, we also would love to thank Susan and Bill Dunkins of the award of the same name (My apology if I do not have your name correct) for introducing us to this experience through a Smithsonian summer camp. While Lego lovers since the crib:), we would not have known anything about the FLL if not for that camp. My rookie team of 9 year olds had a wonderful time. Congratulations to the winning teams. My students really enjoyed watching the robots and learning about other team's projects. The programs that Ally and JMU provided were also a highlight. Thank you!
