  Once you have your tournament assignment, you'll need to contact the tournament director (or other point-of-contact) to make specific requests.  And don't wait until just before the tournament, of course, unless there is an emergency.

  Since your team will have many activities scheduled (3 judging sessions, 3 or 4 rounds at the competition tables), it is much easier to fulfill a request like "please let this team have it's project judging in the afternoon" than a request like "please schedule all the judging sessions after 1pm."
