No offence taken here.  We all have opinions.  In my opinion, I realize I can't get around to thanking everybody the day of the tournament.  I know I thanked quite a few on Saturday.  However, I still think its important to give a shoutout to those you miss.  Therefore, I for one, will continue thanking in person and via the listserv.

This program is about caring, respect and love for other human beings and I only hope my post won’t be taken as being in any way contrary to that spirit for even one single person on this list.

Haven’t seen a post like this in my five years of involvement with FIRST Lego…hmmm…interesting.

Dear All,

I would like to respectfully suggest, this list will be more effective if every person is not tempted to give thanks for every tournament that occurs these next two weeks.  We know you love this stuff!  So do we all J!!! Please just thank profusely every volunteer you see at the tournament, so we don’t all wear out our delete keys and can find the e-mails we need to get ready for our tournaments.  It really is hard for me to sort through the e-mails every day but I really want my team to benefit from me being knowledgeable – I believe many people may also suffer a time shortage or I would not send this e-mail.

Thank you,

Scrooge (but I do have a point I hope you can see)

Team 2329 would like to thank all the tournament organizers, judges, volunteers, and hosts for a great tournament experience at TJHSST yesterday. Our team had a lot of fun and enjoyed the experience.  Thank you all for all the effort you put into making this tournament so much fun.

Enit

On behalf of the Fairfield Court Elementary Eaglebots team 1999 we want to thank all of the judges, volunteers, and coordinators at Maggie Walker FLL. It was a great event. The team enjoyed it thoroughly. All but one of the students on the team were new to LEGO! They were already talking about next at the end of the day yesterday! See you next year and thanks again.

Many thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers and the fantastic teams at Maggie Walker today! The day ran fairly smoothly and everyone kept smiling :~)

Kudos to Sandy and Carol, the tournament directors for putting it all together!

Good luck to the teams going on the State Tournament in December: 753, 1740, & 10349!!
