1. You can travel on all parts of the mats. -water, land, strips. It's all fair game. 2. As it was clarified in one of the rules,it is possible to grab the rat that is not yours. (It is a competition after all.) Some, but not all teams will attempt that angle. My team has no plan for that part of the mat yet, so I don't know what they'll do.
