Of course- the kids are in charge of the board run and missions completely. But knowledge is power, so as long as the kids know what the points are, they will *most likely*, but not assuredly, come that conclusion. I had my kids put drafting tape with all the points on each object (add an "e" if the points are for each object) Then they start their strategy- easy or high points, combo or simple programming. These are the decisions that get made after they understand the point system for each mission. Thank-you for reminding anyone who needs it that the kids' control the mission runs, Brandy On Wed, Sep 7, 2011 at 1:31 PM, Sammons, John <[log in to unmask]>wrote: > The discussion about rules clarifications is helpful and needed for > coaches to best explain the rules to the team members; however, let’s leave > it up to the team members to figure out the best plans for solving the > challenge. > > > > Thanks! > > > > *From:* First Lego League in Virginia and DC [mailto: > [log in to unmask]] *On Behalf Of *Brandy bergenstock > *Sent:* Wednesday, September 07, 2011 1:01 PM > > *To:* [log in to unmask] > *Subject:* Re: [VADCFLL-L] Rule clarification about yellow bacteria > > > > You'll get 6 points for each yellow bacteria in the start.
