I really like the peer encouragement and kudos you are proposing! What fun (and thoughtful) to have "admission" items of food! October would be a good time for collecting food, as well.

Each team would receive 3 bright pieces of paper, called compliments. Each team would pick which other team to give compliments to. The compliments could be called most awesome attachment, most helpful sharing, most amazing navigation, or something similar.
