I installed patch 2.1f3 a couple of weeks ago in response to an error code 1003 that was preventing our programs from compiling/downloading. We still get occasional "NXT unavailable" type messages here and there with much longer error codes. I can't detect a pattern to these as sometimes the programs will download and sometimes not. In addition, I have multiple kids working with two robots on three computers and I'm having trouble keeping track.

Is there any downside to dowloading and executing every patch that's available to see if one of them fixes these problems (or to anticipate further problems?).
We're working on Windows 7 if that matters.

Thank you,

Haydee
