After years of playing with NXTs, I find that the controller is more a brick than a brain, but it is always nice to see terminological gracious professionalism in action on the eve of competition :-)

The rules apply to what you are currently using in a match. You can have a backup robot in the pit. The total number of motors, the brain, etc., is referring to what's on the robot and its attachments for any given match.

I think explicitly allowed but only three motors between the two are allowed

Are we allowed to use 2 different robots that share a brain and just change out the brain during competition?

If so, will that hurt us during the robot judging phase?

Thanks.

I have another question. If two balls come out of the ball game after you push
the lever, will the referee put one back, put both back, or leave it.

Thanks,
