Yes, the VA/DC FLL fee is $100. The total that our first time team paid to FIRST this past season is outlined below (I copied this from our receipt). There is also the cost of building materials for a table, team t-shirts, and miscellaneous materials. In general, it is reasonable for a new team to spend about $1,000 getting started.

Does anyone happen to know what is charged for one robotics kit when you register through FLL? I found that the field set-up kit was $75 and the team registration was $225. Also, was the VA FLL fee $100?
