Hello everyone,

 

FRC Team 122 New Horizons Career and Technical Robotics students will be involved once again with the Governors school summer camps.

Each year, the GSST operates a summer Science and summer Computer camp. The Computer Camp is for students going into 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, who are interested in computers and math, and who exhibit a high aptitude for learning, a positive attitude, and appropriate behavior. Students will chose one course per Session; Webpage Design, C++ (text-based programming), Java (Graphics) or Robotics (Legos or VEX). The Science Camp is for students going into 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, who are interested in science and math and who exhibit a high aptitude for learning, a positive attitude, and appropriate behavior. Science courses encompass biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics, astronomy, and mathematics. Courses are taught through hands-on experiments that are instructive, exciting, and fun!!
