If a child drops off the team or is not going to be there for the tournament (for whatever reason - sick, family emergency, any other conflict, etc.), you do not need to update the registration.

When you arrive at the registration desk to check in for your tournament, please either
1. Don't include the child on the list of team members on the team information sheet if you know ahead of time that they will not be present
2. Just tell the registration desk that the child is not there.  The main reason for this is so that we know that we do not need a consent form for that child.

Hope that helps,
Karen

Subject: [VADCFLL-L] team dropout

We have one child who dropped out of our team (defined as having sporadic attendance from the beginning and not giving any sign of life for the last month).
Do I need to change our registration with FIRST or with VA DC FLL to note this prior to the tournament?

Thank you,

Haydee
