We moved from FLL to FTC this year, and I am happy to answer any questions, although I am by no means an expert.  Kristin Clemons and Carol Edelman are two of the coordinators who were very helpful in our transition, and you can find their contact info on the Virginia FIRST website.  They are both very helpful and friendly!

Also, there are a ton of FTC resources on the FIRST website, and some of those calls are recorded.  There may be a link to a recording of the call you mentioned above.  You can find videos and MP3s of them here:

These two pages have the main chunk of info we needed:

http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/ftc/mentors

The best advice I can give is to start reading this stuff now, because honestly, it is a lot.  I felt lost at first.  I would start with the mentor's guide, and just go from there as you have questions.  There are usually rookie team grants each year, and also special grants for teams who go directly from FLL to FTC.  Let me know if I can answer other specific questions for transitioning from FLL to FTC.

Good luck!
