With few exceptions (like the offer Tom Welsh made with NOVA Labs) the best way to get your children on a team is to coordinate with your school and start one. That’s generally easy to do – the concept is an easy sell to administrators. In most cases, all you need to do is recruit a teacher to serve as the official coach and then coordinate parental support and mentorship. In NOVA and the Hampton Roads area – traffic alone will make the effort worth your while. If you need help convincing anyone – let us know.
