Ashburn Robotics will hold a coaches training workshop on Saturday August 16 at the Loudoun School for the Gifted. (44675 Cape Court, Unit 105 Beaumeade Technology Campus Ashburn, VA 20147) This free workshop is open to all registered FLL rookie coaches living in the NoVa metro area. The workshop will cover the basics of how to design and build FLL robots, basic programming structure including how to use the most common program blocks and how to use the light, touch, ultrasonic and rotation sensors. The workshop will feature a custom FLL robot game to test out your new skills and and an overview of what to expect at your first FLL tournament.

Only coaches who have already registered with FIRST Lego League and have a national team number are invited to this event. Because this will be a hands on workshop coaches will need to bring their NXT or EV3 robotics kits and laptop with them. Make sure to install the software on your laptop and charge your robot’s battery prior to Aug 16th.

This workshop is intended for FLL coaches and asst. coaches only ( not for your team members).
