It's funny how these things work out. Today was "practice robot runs" day, and I no longer have the above "problem" (which wasn't really a problem). After letting the kids practice for about an hour and a half, I asked the entire team for a show of hands on who WANTED to run the robot at the tournament. 2 hands went up and the other 3 pointed to the two that were raised. Apparently they all *thought* they wanted to run the robot, but after spending some time actually running it with time constraints, they decided to elect the two that seem to have the most consistent success. I'm fine with that, since it was a team decision. I was gearing up to help orchestrate the complicated 5 person 2.5 minute set of exchanges.
