In addition to what Steve mentioned and what I sent last week about the awards and advancing criteria, it is important to remember that there are a specified number of teams from each division at each tournament that will be selected to move to the Championship Tournament (just over 100 teams is all we can fit).  Those numbers are based on the number of teams in that division at that tournament, and the tournament cannot offer additional invitations.

The criteria to qualify for consideration are the same as for the Champions' Award.  As a rule of thumb, a team must finish in the top 40% of scores to be considered for advancement.
