Is any VA/DC FLL volunteer also an employee of Verizon?  If you are, you can register your 50 hours of support (team coaching, tournament, etc.) to the Verizon Foundation.  This will give VA/DC FLL $750 in grant money.  Just log into Verizon Foundation and search for FLL in the state of Virginia.
