*2015 ROBOTICS SUMMER CAMPS – AGES 9-14* *The Center for Creative Arts offers one of the most popular Robotics Camps in the Greater Richmond Area! Camps are taught and mentored by the coaches and team members of award-winning Robotics teams! Campers build robots using LEGO Technic parts and program the robots to perform various tasks on laptops. (Please note this is not a LEGO play camp.)Students learn how to build and design robots using the LEGO EV3 system. Students learn basic robotic engineering, programming principals, and the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robotics Invention System. Teamwork skills are emphasized as students work together in small groups to design, build, and program robots to complete various tasks. Family and friends are invited to a presentation on the last day of camp.
