I’d also encourage anyone from the Northern Virginia area to look for mentors who work at Booz Allen or Rockwell Collins. They provide special employee engagement grants if you get one of their employees to serve as a mentor.
The bottom line is that getting kids interested, or money to start a team – are seldom the limiting factors with FLL.
