I think you mean division 1 and division 2. The age of the oldest team member as of Jan of the competition year determines this.  Division 2 starts at 12 years of age.

Good Morning,

I am brand new to FLL.  I'm coaching a team in Hillsville, VA.  I observed the regional competition in Abingdon last year.  I remember there were two age levels for the competition, Level 1 and Level 2.  Can any one please remind me what the age requirements were for the two levels?  I have searched and I cannot find it.

Thank you,

Karoline S. Berg
