It's definitely good to ensure that your Robot and attachments are ready to go before a match.

Please note that at a tournament, your team is not allowed to touch any of the Models out in the Field.

R09, Pre-Match Preparation does allow you to ask the Referee to confirm the setup of a Model.

R09 also only guarantees you one minute of preparation time.  Teams should definitely ask the Referee to check any setup that looks incorrect and whether Models that the Robot is especially sensitive to are well-attached to the mat.  But use your discretion--asking about 100% of the Models (without visual justification) is probably going overboard.
