Thanks for comments and guidance. In other suggestions I heard that we can not use White Tape as that is not made by "Lego" , I will try to use Nail Polish remover, the team borrowed the motor from have put their initials X.Y. on the motor on top so its clearly visible. It doesn't give any advantage to the Robot, but I will try my best to remove it or cover it with beams.

I cannot give you an official answer, but as a long-time volunteer and a FLL referee, this is against the rules, but is frequently overlooked by most referees. If you get a referee who sticks by the rules, you will not have a defensible argument. With that said, if you are really stuck, it should not be a big issue with using this motor.

Technically =  Not allowed
Practically = frequently overlooked

We try to make the tournaments fun and enjoyable for the children. As long as there is no major advantage to you breaking the rules, we will try to be accommodating (speaking for myself primarily).

Recommendation: try to get the markings off, or cover them with white tape (you can get white electrical tape). If that does not work, use the motors and hope you get a kind referee.
