There are four quadrilateral pieces on the back of the truck that guide the
truck along the railing. When fixed properly there is wider gap pointing to
the railing. If it is fixed the other way with the narrower end facing the
railing, you could experience difficulties like the way you were mentioning
as it is hard to get the truck on to the railing.
