The Re-Psychos had a fabulous time as well (apologize for my late response…went out of town on Monday).  We would like to thank all those that contributed to making the GMU tourney (and all the tournaments) such a success.  Everyone was helpful and support of these teams.  Thanks for being great examples to these kids.  Best wishes to those moving on to state. 

 

Those competing this weekend.  Please remind the kids of what they have learned this season and not to be discouraged if their bot doesn’t run exactly as designed.  This is part of the learning experience.  Have them learn from others’ designs and mission strategies.

I would like to give a big shout out to the judges, referees, and volunteers who flawlessly put on an awesome competition on Saturday at GMU.  Our kids had a fantastic time! A big thanks to Lakshi Meyyappan for all of her efforts to make sure the spirit of FLL was alive and well at the competition. Also, Team 12467, STARS, would like to thank a parent who let us borrow his powerbox from his Lenovo laptop. We inadvertently brought the wrong powerbox for our laptop, and the day would have been dismal had we not experienced the kindness of this gentleman who graciously allowed us to use his to charge our computer. Thank you for reflecting Core Values. Our team sincerely appreciates it!
