What is the Terra Centre FLL Robotics Post-Season Tournament - Trash Trek Season? It's a full Trash Trek tournament including Robot Game, Robot Design judging, Project judging, and Core Values judging -- but its just run for fun by the Terra Centre PTA. Sometimes called a "scrimmage." Because it is run by the TC PTA, not FLL or VADCFLL, no teams are "assigned"...just sign up!

You didn't make the State Tournament? This is your chance to do more with the Trask Trek season! The focus is celebrating fun and participation, not winning.

We are a PTA-based team that only gets 6 weeks to prepare before our regional tournaments. So, the idea of a post-season tournament is to give the kids a couple more days to get their robot working the way they planned.

The Project is still the same -- don't start over -- use the Project you used in the Trash Trek regional tournament with just a little more time to finish up some loose ends. Maybe present the additional sharing you have done. Not prepared for the Project judging? No worries, come participate in whatever you can and have fun.

We had intended to do awards and give volunteers freebies so we were charging a fee per team to cover some of the costs. We are not profiting...just giving the kids an opportunity to have fun. If the fee is a big issue, contact me.

Burke is in the heart of Fairfax County so it is easily accessible from all of Northern Virginia and DC. Just 20 minutes SW of the Pentagon, 30 minutes north of Quantico, and 30 minutes east of Gainesville.

Volunteer judges and referees needed! Training, lunch, and lots of fun will be provided.

Some details:
Participation awards will be provided
Team fee reduced to $25 (to cover awards and volunteer hospitality)
Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks will be sold on-site
Open to all registered VADCFLL teams (ages 9-14)
Each team is requested to provide 1 judge and 1 general volunteer
Limited to 100 participants
