Tomorrow, we will be hosting our mini-FLL Tournament at the Cascades Library from 2:00 to 4:00.
We encourage you to come at 1 PM and practice your missions.
Attending this tournament will help your actual competition in Core value and Robot judging.
The competition will have three main aspects...
Robot Runs (3 chances)
Robot Design Judging (10 minutes)
Core Values Judging (10 minutes)
We already released the challenges in the previous email. To reiterate, all the challenges are selected from last year’s Trash Trek challenge. Here are the following missions
that teams can attempt:
We understand that some teams have not attended all the workshops and some have not kept up to speed with our course-ware so teams can come as early as 1:00 to work on
their programs for their robot for the competition. Please come to the competition with a FULLY charged robot because we will not wait for those teams who are unprepared
to charge their robot.
For the robot design judging, make sure that all of your programs for the tournament are on a single laptop so the judges can review it.
We will not be asking you to run your robot during the judging but we will be asking a lot of questions so make sure that everyone in the team is knowledgeable
about the design and programming of the robot.
Below are the teams registered for the competition. If your team is not listed, please send us an email we will add your team.
