There will be *many* email announcement and reminder messages about tournament registration.  The most important thing that you can do now are the initial registration activities described in Krystian Jones' email of Sept 11 titled " 2016 FIRST LEGO League Animal Allies Registration".

Everyone agrees--happy coaches don't wait to enter team-specific information until the last minute.  You can do everything but identify tournament preferences now and then just do that the afternoon of October 1.

Moeen,

We will open tournament registration on October 1st and close registration on or about the 10th.  You'll pick your top 3 choices and Karen will assign teams to specific tournaments by the 15th (usually before that).

It appears as if VA/DC has published VA/DC FLL tournament dates ...

However, I'm not seeing an option to chose the date that our team would like to participate on. Not sure if that option is still not available @ VA/DC FLL Team Registration screen or if I'm not following the right process.
