Thanks for the offer of the wheels.  The kids experimented with many kids of wheels and went with the motorcycle wheels as well.  Thank you for your input and willingness to share.

Hi Tanya -

This is our fourth year and have had lots of consistency problems.

This year the team switched to motorcycle wheels which are thinner and larger. There is less traction w the thinner wheels.

We had to order them (didn't come w the initial kit). Where are you located?  We r in Ashburn. We could lend u some wheels (I think) - our tournament is this weekend, and I believe we ordered several different sets of wheels and are only using one set. (I am the project coach; the kids work independently on the robot).  We meet this afternoon.

Let me know if u are interested.

I have been coaching a number of years now and seem to see the kids always have a hard time with their programs being consistent after the robot has been running for awhile.  I realize battery power could be an issue.  Are their any other things I could check?

Thanks
Tonya
