The Lego Mindstorms EV3 Idea Book by Yoshihito Isogawa and
The Unofficial Lego Technic Builder's Guide by Pawet Sariel Kmiet

In my own experience coaching teams, I found that these books elevated the team in their skills on how to build a robot for a challenge and how to program it to do the missions on the table. So, I strongly recommend for anyone, who is serious about learning and winning.
