Sorry to interfere but this is one of those things many rookie coaches struggle with.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend you get your VADCFLL registration/payment completed immediately (see email below).  You want to be submitting your tournament preferences on Oct 1 at 2:00 to ensure you get your desired date and location. Most teams that submit their preferences the first day get there 1st choice but it's getting tighter every year.  Hopefully you know your kids' availabilities.  Note that you will have to put in your top 3 choices and, yes, you have to submit 3.  Note that team 6960 may have to be typed in with a leading zero as 06960 (plus its a fun palindrome).

Of course, some of the process has changed this year so don't take my word for it.

By the way, I may be volunteering as a judge/referee at one of the tournaments.  Let me know which one you're assigned so I can avoid any conflict of interest.

We are aware that the FIRST Youth Registration systems are not in full operation at the moment.  Please proceed with the VA-DC FIRST LEGO League registration process as normal.  You will be asked to provide some team information, but you do not need the FIRST youth registration system to do so.
