We had that problem originally;  then we discovered the model had been out togethet incorrectly.  It pulls out without any resistance now.

Hi Frank,
I agree with Vince’s comment-our team hasn’t experienced any issues when lifting the pipe out.  I would recommend checking the set up around the pipe and maybe the pipe itself.  It should be able to lift directly out of the area.

Hope that helps!  Good luck:)

From our experience, the broken pipe should sit in a space that is about 25% larger than it is.  It should also easily be lifted straight up out if this original starting position.  Take a look at your green sides to make sure the wedges are properly placed underneath and properly mounted on the mat.

Good luck,

Hello,
Is the broken pipe in M01 supposed to require a little force to remove it from the table?  When our robot attempts to lift the pipe, the pipe is getting hung up on the model.  This is driving my team toward a gearing-down solution, which will certainly work, but my question is... should the model behave like that?  Are we experiencing what everyone else is experiencing?  It seems that this behavior is very dependent on the placement of the two green sides, and that placement causes a very distinct change in the solution required to remove the pipe.  I understand that model variability is part of the game, but I'm curious to hear what folks have been experiencing.

Thanks,
Frank Levine
