Rookies,

To help you know what to expect from a tournament, watch the Tournament Walk-Through video at https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.startingpoints.com_va-2Ddc-2Dtournament-2Dwalk-3Fcategory-3Dfirstlegoleague&d=DwIFaQ&c=eLbWYnpnzycBCgmb7vCI4uqNEB9RSjOdn_5nBEmmeq0&r=k6Oa5GxfBPFMgGjb2r5QIoEOeBZs9xbNIpA0kLw_kFQ&m=h7PsoxLGAoSYR_3fyi8C6bSZ56Qk6tLbjthETotlFvI&s=cZFTIcJNwMlA_RtgEn9uaJyVjhX_v4EofVRFGwBYQ3c&e= .  Some of the rules have changed since this training video was made, so PLEASE READ the challenge guide rules for handling items and your robot for game play.

Many teams at this point in the season don’t feel they will be ready for tournament. It’s very common. Even if you feel this way, participate in a tournament. The tournaments are exciting and are big part of the experience.

Have fun and remember – what you learn is what’s important.

Thanks,

Scott Rakestraw
