This is an invitation to FLL teams in Northern Virginia who are considering moving up to the next FIRST program, FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) for middle school/high school students.

FTC Team 8297 Geared UP! from Ashburn, VA is hosting a Robotics Demo THIS SATURDAY, February 12 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Rust Library in Leesburg, VA.  Refer to the attached flyer for more details. 

Eventhough the VA/DC FLL Tournaments are over for this season, we always encourage all FLL teams to continue spreading the word about FIRST and STEM.  There are many STEM outreach events and FLL Off-Season Scrimmages planned for the upcoming months.  Please consider attending and/or volunteering for these events as they are a great way for your FLL team to do an outreach activity and display their FIRST Core Values.

Speaking of volunteering, the other 3 FIRST programs (FLL Jr, FTC and FRC) are still in progress.  All FIRST events are run by volunteers.  Volunteering for any of these events is a great way to learn more about a particular FIRST program.  Also, its a lot of fun to be a part of it.  Let me know if you or your team is interested in volunteering for upcoming FIRST events.
