Are you ready to submit your tournament preferences?!

 

October 1^st is right around the corner!  Have you completed everything to register for your tournament preferences?  Below is a quick checklist of items that MUST be completed before you select your preferences for a tournament on Oct. 1st.

 

• Team is registered with FIRST and all payments have been made: https://my.firstinspires.org/AccountManager/Account/Register
• Each individual team member has their consent form completed.
• Team is registered with VA-DC FIRST LEGO League (if you are a returning team, you will still need to create a team manager account, so please do so before Oct. 1^st): https://vadcfll.cisat.jmu.edu/db/newaccount.aspx
• Complete the registration fee of $150 to VA-DC FIRST LEGO League: https://commerce.cashnet.com/cashneti/selfserve/storeentrance.aspx?client=JMU_PROD&SID=VADCFLL&
• Check out tournaments near you! https://va-dcfll.org/calendar/
  • We are aware that the calendar plug in has been acting up, so if you have any questions about where an event will be held, please do not hesitate to reach out.

 

On Oct. 1^st at 10:00am get excited and select your tournament preferences!  A quick reminder that registration is a first come first serve basis.  If you have any questions about where your team is in the registration process, feel free to reach out and I will be happy to assist. 

 

 

Last Call for Hardship Grant Applications:

If you, or someone you know, meets all of the requirements below, please have them complete the google form in this email to be considered for a FIRST Hardship Grant.  There is still funding available!

 

Requirements:

• Teams submitted must have registered with FIRST® and hold at least a temporary team number prior to applying them for this grant.
• A hardship team is considered as a team who would not be able to participate without the assistance of funding.
• Teams, be advised NOT PAY for your registration as you will be ineligible for this grant. There are NO REGRANTS for the hardship grant funding.
• Requester must complete a google form: https://goo.gl/forms/hHLWzVgC15KoOsSA2 for each team identified as eligible for the hardship grant.
