Yes, if you've built the model correctly, then with the orange push bar
pulled all the way out to the south, then the flat tan pieces will be
showing and horizontal.

Although the Simply Speaking part of the mission description isn't used for
scoring, it does indicate that pushing the bar too far might be a problem:
"Move the Push Bar the right distance at the right speed, to get into the
green scoring range."
