Most tournaments in Virginia-DC have the three types of judging (Project,
Robot Design, Core Values) going on at the same time as other teams are
running their Robots on the tables.  That's to help keep the teams from
having not much to do for extended periods.  Plus, it tends to make for a
shorter overall day.  But it isn't absolutely required.  I've been at
tournaments where all the judging sessions are in the morning, and the
Robot Game in the afternoon.  That can be very fun, too.
