I just did mine, and it was quite easy. (Yay for FIRST!)
As usual, you have to pay for your two teams separately. Just go to the shopping cart, pick one team, and click the registration and the kit, and then pay for it. When you go right back to the other team, you can just pay for registration and no kit. I think this is the easiest it has been in over ten years.

Hello everyone
The national registration and challenge set (aka field set up kit) are “unbundled” this year. So you do not have to buy them together. But there is a shipping charge on the registration because they will be sending out team meeting guides and engineering notebooks. Apologies for any confusion!

I have been told that, this year, you don’t have to purchase the challenge set (the new name for what was previously called the field setup kit). Last year, you had to but that policy has changed.
I believe the shipping and handling charges everybody is talking about are for the engineering notebooks and team meeting guides that ship with every FLL team registration this year.

It was 2 seperate line items for me. Looks like shipping is being changed for the registration fee, per the FLL website.
