We also only got our challenge set (which I think it means the lego pieces!), but no notebook or printed material. I emailed them last week and got an answer this morning:

Thank you for your email.  Your Challenge Set and Printed Materials will arrive in separate shipments.  Once your second product has shipped, you will receive an additional email alert.  Your tracking information will also be updated on your team dashboard.

I am from Chantilly area and I haven't received my challenge set yet. I got tracking number on last Saturday so I am expecting the delivery sometime this week. 

You can call Lego Education to check the status on your order.
