City Shapers and App Makers: 

 

On Saturday, October 26th, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and VA/DC FIRST LEGO League in support of the Congressional App Challenge are offering a day of learning and innovation.  This session will focus on intellectual property (IP) and its application to the creation, design, development, and implementation towards community planning and apps. Participants will work in teams to address real-world problems of their choice from a wide range of topics, including accessibility, urban sustainability, and transportation!  There will be two sessions; one in the morning from 9am to 12pm and another one from 1pm to 4pm.  Both sessions will take place at the USPTO Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.  Please see the attached flyer for more information and registration.  Please email [log in to unmask] for any questions.
