Agreed. The first=30 and second=20 because the top block set has bridged the three bottom into a single structure so you no longer get credit for them as individual stacks.

My understanding is that the first picture is 30 points but the second one is only 20 points.

Thank you! Steve.
that helps a lot.
on the same thread, by reading the rule, my understanding is that the following picture shows a total of 30 points.

what about the building ending in the following position? the top tan building sits on top of the bottom three building. Is it total of 50 points or 40 points?

Thanks!

Yes, and probably not.

You are allowed to have the Robot move any of your Equipment anywhere you want to on the board.  So the Robot is allowed to leave a supporting structure in a circle.

If you use a supporting structure to put a Stack of Building Units into a circle, then the Stack does *not* earn location points (5 points per level) if the supporting structure is touching the Stack at the end of the match.  Why?  Mission 12 says that in order to earn location points, the Stack must be Independent, and Rule 33 says that Independent means not touching any of your team's Equipment (see Rule 02).

Hi,
We are trying to understand rule 12 better.
Can a supporting structure be left in the circle with the building blocks? Are the building blocks still count 5 points each level?

Thanks! Frank
