Home is the area that is not covered by the mat. The launch is the gridded
section of the mat - you cannot have any part of the robot or attachments
over the black line (at least that is our interpretation) when launching.

My team is adjusting their programming today to end missions in
home (since that was not clear to the team). I know change is inevitable,
but this year it has been an extreme challenge for the team to accurately
interpret and understand all the changes in rules. These are middle
schoolers, not adults and even I had to constantly change my
interpretation/view when reading other coaches/FLL advisors questions,
answers, and comments.
I hope the judges are understanding!
